This braking resistor allows your variable speed drive to operate while braking to a standstill by dissipating the braking energy and enabling maximum transient braking torque. Its protection index is IP23. It weighs 18kg. This resistor is designed to be mounted on the outside of the enclosure but should not inhibit natural cooling; air inlets and outlets must not be obstructed in any way.
